Membership Categories
Membership is open to all medical persons with an interest in poisons and toxicology.
IST offers two categories of lifetime membership:
1. Faculty Membership
Eligibility
Faculty membership is open to professionals actively involved in teaching, research
or practice in fields related to toxicology, including but not limited to:
- Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
- Clinical Toxicology
- Analytical / Laboratory Toxicology
- Pharmacology
- Pathology
- Emergency Medicine
- Public Health and related biomedical sciences
Applicants should hold a recognised medical, scientific or academic qualification and
be currently working in a relevant institution, hospital, laboratory, or research organisation.
2. Student Membership
Eligibility
Student membership is open to individuals currently enrolled in:
- Internship, postgraduate, doctoral or post-doctoral programmes
- Medical, pharmacy, forensic science, toxicology, biomedical sciences or allied disciplines
Students must be pursuing studies related to toxicology or its applications.
A valid student identity card or institutional certificate is required at the time of application.
