1. Course Duration 1 year (11 months of online classes and 1 month for revision and exam)
2. Eligibility MD/DNB in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Critical Care Medicine, Paediatrics. Also MRCP/MRCEM/MEM or equivalent PG degree (subject to approval)
3. Selection Process Online entrance exam with 50 MCQs and Interview
4. Objective To provide a training platform for those who are interested in practicing or teaching medical toxicology.
It can be used in the biodata of the candidate as additional training obtained, but is not meant to be shown as additional qualification.
5. Pattern 40 online classes and 1 day offline practical class.
Day and Time: Last Friday of every month; 2 pm to 4-pm
10 case discussions will be compulsory (one case per student during the last day of online class).
Attendance: Minimum 80%

7. Course Content
a. General Toxicology 1 Module
b. Clinical Toxicology (incl. Emergency & Critical Care Toxicology) 1 Module
c. Forensic Toxicology 1 Module
d. Analytical Toxicology 1 Module
e. Clinical Skills (hands-on) 1 Module
8. Assessment Mid-way there will be a contact session for one day.
Final examination (offline) will be conducted at AIMS, Kochi.
150 Case-Based and Recall Type Multiple Choice Questions: 2 hrs.
Minimum Pass Marks: 80%
